Updating status with music played

I have  trying  updating status of Pidgin as music played using some tools to update current status.I have found the tool
I have tried music Tracker from google codes

Prerequisites:
1. 'pidgin-dev' libraries (sudo apt-get install pidgin-dev)
2. libpcre++ (sudo apt-get install libpcre++-dev)
I have compiled and installed it and it rocks now :)
